C. Aaron Durden, MBA, CFP®, BFA™
Managing Director, Financial Advisor
Aaron has always had a desire to understand and help people in many capacities. What started as a passion for sports and fitness – having played, participated in, coached, and/or officiated a variety of sports and athletic endeavors throughout his life – Aaron has been able to bridge this interest in the various aspects of finances – the movements of markets and the mechanics involved in decision making. He is able to use this experience to serve the faculty and staff at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center by helping them pursue their goals of an ideal retirement.
Aaron is in his 15th year in the financial services industry and serves as the Managing Director of LifeBridge Financial Group, where he helps clients work toward achieving their financial goals and objectives, in addition to connecting the many facets of their lives with one another. He helped establish a multigenerational team at LifeBridge Financial Group to empower its clients for decades ahead. By managing the daily operations of the firm, Aaron has created an approach that is designed to help clients minimize risks and taxes, while maximizing savings and income potential.
He attended Texas A&M University, graduating magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Personal Financial Planning in 2007. A strong believer in lifelong learning, Aaron visited Boston in 2013 to attend "Negotiations Skills: Strategies for Increased Effectiveness" through Harvard University's Division of Continuing Education. He obtained a Behavioral Financial Advisor Certification in 2016, and the following year he achieved his personal and professional goal of becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
In addition to the time put in at LifeBridge Financial Group, Aaron also serves on the board of Minds Matter, a local non-profit dedicated to helping students maximize their potential as they transition from high school to college.
Aaron and his wife, Heather, reside in Richmond, TX with his stepson, Reid, his two daughters, Ansley and Kamryn, and their Australian Shepherd, Oliver.
